About me: There was something about The Road to El Dorado that fascinated me. From the very moment I saw the trailer for it back in 1999 or 2000 there was a chill down my spine, a chill telling me that I witnessed a preview of greatness. I started this site when I was 16 and in high school. Since I had seen The Road to El Dorado (twice in theaters) I was playing with the idea of making a website, though I had no clue on how to make one at all. I talked to a few friends and I started this site on March 3rd 2001 during my Computer Graphics class, a course I took because it was suppose to teach Flash animation.....but that's another story. I had been interested in animation since I was a kid and I had been writing my own comics since the 4th grade. It soon followed that I wanted to become an animator. The Road to El Dorado only fueled that passion

Since it's begining I have wrote 14 short fan fiction stories, 4 parody songs, created 42 original pieces of fan art and collected others fan art, fan fiction, concept art, merchandise, and behind the scenes info and to this day it all is still being compiled on to this site. (I always have more to share)

I graduated High School in 2003 and That Girl of Barcelona was already the largest and most comprehensive Road to El Dorado fan site on the net. After taking off a complete year in which I took a break from school and traveled to London. I enrolled in The Media Arts and Animation program at the New England Institute of Art. (One of the Art Institutes.) where I studied both 2D animation and 3D animation using Flash and 3Ds Max as well as tradiotiona mediums. I have found my knack in animation for background painting and design, texturing and lighting. In 2007 my then-boyfriend Alex (aka Sasha) knew that I wanted to go to Mexico because of The Road to El Dorado and took me there (we had only been dating for 3 months). It was a wonderful week, filled with pyramid climbs, jungle treks, and tours of the ruins (Though Sasha would have preferred to sit on the beach all day, that wasn't going to happen.)  In 2008 I graduated The New England Institute of Art with a Bachelors of Science in Media Arts and Animation. On April 10th, 2010, Alex and I got married. We now live in Massachusetts.

Be Afraid.
Be Very Afraid
Hola, Me llamo Guadalupe. Yo Vivo en Barcelona,Espana. Amo a Miguel. Yo soy amiga de Miguel y Tulio, socios del artista. Hey Lupe, I think the people want it in English. Oh, sorry. Ok my name is Guadalupe. My name means, "My image will crush the serpent god" in the native language of El Dorado (Aztec). I live in Barcelona, Spain and I'm Miguel and Tulio's inside con artist partner. I love Miguel, I mean really love him He is my number one guy at all times and for eternity I will love him always. What isn't there to like about him he's fun, adventurous, funny and I could go on for days on end. Well...uh what else is there to say? I try to Help Miguel and Tulio hide from the authorities all the time so far it's worked. I own a bar in town. That's how I met Miguel and Tulio, They came into my bar had some drinks we talked a little and boom! I living' a life of crime! Look in the literature section under a story called "The Tavern" that's where you will get all the details of how we met (is this sounding corny?) Well fine sorry to waste your time {Sticks out her tongue.}
Guadalupe -->
(Bar Owner, Me, Coralee!)
Age: 22
Occupation: Tavern owner wine and beer maker
Bio: Lupe grew up in Sao Miguel in Azores Portugal her Mother being Portuguese and her father from England she knew much of the world around her. She dreams of going to far off places and meeting exotic peoples but her dreams always have led to dead ends. The Tavern she owns is located in a quiet Barcelona port. With mostly sailors as customers she has learned how to take care of herself despite her aristocratic past. She never regrets moving away from her family to Barcelona. If she didn't she would never have met the love of her life, Miguel. Even though she has never been a hopeless romantic or ever thought of getting into a love life, Miguel found a way into her solitary habits and her heart.
Lolita -------->
(Beer wench, Jacqui)
Age: 23
Lolita our beer wench lives up to her potential of being a wench. One of her favorite pastimes is hitting on Tulio. Lolita often fights with Esmerelda over Tulio. Ever since Chel has arrived in the scene both her and Esmerelda try to get rid of Chel but no such luck.... Yet. Lolita hopes one day she'll get out of this serving wench job and get into acting.
<----Esmerelda
(Bartender, Ashley)
Age: 21

My Characters:
Me, and my buds
My Villains
I will make Pictures for all of them soon soon
Juan del Oceano:
Age 33
Occupation: Wine Trader
Miscellaneous: Is Guadalupe's older cousin
Motives: Psychopath that hates Miguel for being a criminal and loving Lupe.
Short Bio: First introduced in the Story "Original Sin" Juan seemed like a pretty normal guy. We later find out in the story that he is really a greedy psychopath who wants to 'Rub Miguel out' and get his reward money'. Juan will stop at nothing to prevent Lupe and Miguel ever getting married even if it means killing both Miguel and Juan's own little cousin Lupe.

Malezzo:
Age: 36
Occupation: Matador (Bull Fighter)
Miscellaneous: He is really annoying and very self absorbed. He's completely phony
Motives: Rude, conceited and really really a pain in neck.
Short Bio: First appeared in the PC and PS1 game "Gold and Glory: The Road to El Dorado" I took the little lonely character that had about 10 minuets of game play in him and made him into a full fledged character. Not really too much of a life-threatening villain just more of an annoyance. He was first introduced in his own RtED Fan fiction called "The Legend of The Great Malezzo" He was a comical villain who thought he had class. But he really didn't. He goes around with a wench on each arm gloating about when he defeated the Biggest Bull in Spain, "El Diablo". But as the story later reveals is that he never did such a thing the bull just got tired of chasing him around the ring.
